My experience in EME2040 has been nice so far. I have enjoyed taking this course asynchronously online, likely more than I would have in person in sync. I think that asynchronous online classes are best for courses having to do with any sort of digital literacy. I really like being able to work on assignments at my own pace in this course.
Open educational resources, or OER, are educational materials that are either public domain are otherwise allow free use, redistribution, or adaptation. OER can help provide access to classroom materials, be it lesson plans, books, or any other type of instructional material. This can be beneficial as it can reduce or eliminate some costs of education, like textbooks. OER can also save teacher time by reducing the amount of time required to develop a lesson.

I thought assignment 4 was a interesting assignment. Overall, I enjoyed working on this assignment. It was nice to learn how to complete some of the technical aspects in creating a slide show presentation, especially in the context of a lesson. While I enjoyed it, I thought that it could easily take up a significant amount of time. It was also a bit of a challenge to keep the spoken presentation useful, but also direct and short.
